A Message from the McCowan Family Dental Team:
We hope that you and your family are in good health and keeping safe. Our commitment to your health and safety is our priority so we have added extra precautions during your visits. During these unprecedented times, we are following these new standards and we hope that by complying to these new protocols, we can all do our part and ensure that our patients and staff will be in a safe environment while continuing to perform exceptional dental care.
What to expect on your dental visit:
1. Routine screening will be done via phone when booking your appointment and again on arrival to your appointment.
2. On arrival to the clinic please call 416-438-9889 to notify us that you have arrived. We will let you know when you can enter the office.
3. Upon entering the clinic, hand sanitizer is provided for you to use. We also require to check your temperature via touchless thermometer.
4. Appointments will be spaced out to allow for physical distancing between patients. Please arrive on time to your appointment (not earlier or later) as we are booking patients accordingly so that there is a minimal amount of people in the clinic at a time.
5. Our waiting room will no longer have magazines or children’s toys.
6. You will notice that we will be wearing more protective gear such as masks, face shields, gowns – than we normally do during your visit. We have also invested in air purifiers (Surgically Clean Air Inc.) in the clinic for the safety of our patients and staff. Surgically Clean Air’s purifiers “use multi-stage air purifying technologies that work together to clean, purify and re-energize the indoor air. The six-stage filtration system captures dust particles, pollen, volatile organic chemicals, gases, mold, allergens, viruses, odors (like formaldehyde and smoke), bio-aerosols, and many other pollutants that are found in the inside air in workplaces”.
