Ivan Teodoro
Co-Founder and Head of Dental Hygiene, RDH
Ivan Teodoro graduated from George Brown College in 2008. During his 17+ years experience, Ivan is committed to lifelong learning through hours of continuing education to provide up to date and advanced treatments for his patients. Through patient education he strives to promote optimal oral health and well being of his patients.
When Ivan is not in the office you can find him on the golf course or the mountains snowboarding in the winter. He loves to travel and makes it his life mission to see the world.
Janet Sanchez
Registered Dental Hygienist
Janet is one of MFD's Registered Dental Hygienist, a graduate of George Brown College in 2008. The experience and flexibility in her work is a great asset to our practice as she is also capable to do front desk reception work and assist General Practice and Specialty Dentistry.
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, her main goal is to help people achieve optimum oral and overall health by providing up to date dental care tailored to each patient's specific needs. She loves working with clients of all ages and different backgrounds and continuously challenging herself with high demand cases.
Outside the practice, she enjoys staying active and playing sports like volleyball, softball and ultimate frisbee in balance of her love of exploring the Toronto's diverse food scene.
Lilibeth Turqueza
Registered Dental Hygienist
Lilibeth began her career in dentistry as a Dental Assistant before advancing to become a skilled Dental Hygienist. She graduated in 1998 from Career Canada and continued to enhance her expertise through various specialized trainings. Her passion for dental care led her to pursue the Dental Hygiene Program at Xincon Technology College of Canada, where she graduated in 2009. Throughout her career, Lilibeth has worked in various dental offices in both assistant and hygienist roles, bringing diverse experience to her current position at McCowan Family Dental.
Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, cooking, watching romance movies and travelling. She’s also known for her fun-loving spirit, frequently sharing TikTok dance videos with Dr. Joel.
Patricia Ladines
Office Manager and treatment coordinator, da
Patricia, our “Jill of all trades,” office manager, treatment coordinator, front desk and assistant is also an alumni of George Brown College. With her experience she takes pride in making every patients visit to the dentist smooth from scheduling appointments, submitting claims to insurance companies, financial arrangements and assisting you in all your needs and concerns by answering your questions.
She enjoys travelling and aims to explore the many wonders of the world.
Marianne Pangalilingan
Patient care coordinator, registered nurse
Marianne is a Registered Nurse (RN) with 18+ years of healthcare experience, including four years abroad in Australia. A graduate of the George Brown/Ryerson BScN program in 2007, she has worked in several hospital departments including medical imaging, cardiology and currently in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), providing compassionate care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery. At McCowan Family Dental, she enjoys creating a comfortable and welcoming experience for every patient.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, traveling, and discovering new local foodie spots.
